2008 ASSOCIATE RACING MEMBERSHIP
The Namequoit Sailing Association invites Pleasant Bay sailors to join its 2007 small boat summer racing series as associate racing members.
Eligible boats include Baybirds, Widgeons, Day Sailers, 420s, Flying Scots, Mariners, Rhodes 19s, Sunfish, and all catboats under 18 feet. Skippers of other classes should inquire to see if other owners in the same boat class are interested in participating.
Races are held in July and August on Saturday mornings or afternoons, depending on the tide, with an occasional Sunday race. An additional Labor Day race will be sailed on Saturday, September 1. Races start in The River near the mouth of the Namequoit River and generally extend into Little Pleasant Bay. Winners are eligible to receive NSA prizes.
There is a $50 charge for participating boats.

A program with racing specifics will be available at a June orientation meeting that all racing participants are strongly urged to attend.
