2009 NAMEQUOIT RACING
Each summer, Namequoit holds weekend races for all Pleasant Bay sailors. The races are great for experienced and novice sailors alike - the idea is to get out on the water, hone one's skills, and have fun.
NSA Members participate for free, non-NSA members may pay $50 to join as an Associate Racing Member for the full summer. Download the PDF application here.
Eligible boats include Baybirds, Widgeons, Day Sailers, 420s, Flying Scots, Mariners, Rhodes 19s, Sunfish, and all catboats. Skippers of other classes are welcome to inquire to see if other owners in the same boat class are interested in participating and add another class.
Races are held Sundays and the occasional Saturday in July, August, and September - link here for the schedule or download a PDF version here. An additional Labor Day race will be sailed on Saturday, September 5. Races start near the mouth of the Namequoit River and generally extend into Little Pleasant Bay. Winners are eligible to receive NSA prizes.

ROWING & PADDLING EVENT - Everyone Welcome!
Open to anything that can be rowed or paddled!
Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 a.m. - Meet at Kent's Point in Orleans to sign up and proceed to Hog Island for a picnic. Lunch will be provided!
Adults $20, Children under 12, Free - proceeds to benefit the NSA Junior Sailing Program
