Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Patients who experience pain, numbness, or tingling in their wrist and fingers might be experiencing carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused my excessive pressure on the median nerve in the wrist. This nerve is what gives you feeling in your thumb and all fingers except the pinky. Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when a patient has swelling in their wrist that causes the tunnel to squeeze/pinch the median nerve. Some patients may get relief from wrist braces or corticosteroids, but more severe cases require surgery. Our physicians perform several non-invasive procedures to fix carpal tunnel syndrome.
